Approved the hiring of the City's First ever Procurement Administrator to modernize City bidding and purchasing tasks
Hired a proactive City Manager who has recruited superior team members to ensure consistency and financial security for the city
6 million per-year savings due to full payment of Police and Fire Pension Balance
Worked in Tallahassee to obtain additional grants and funding for capital projects, including the Southeast drainage project, which is the largest drainage project in the history of the city
Worked with the Broward County Property Appraiser to ensure a presence in City Hall monthly to assist residents with finding ways to reduce their property taxes
